"Heidi has an unbounded sense of enthusiasm, completely infectious, and there's nothing phony about it. I've completed in 18 Ironman triathlons and have trained my heart out in all directions of the sport. I began working with Heidi about three years ago, and she's introduced a new level of challenge that I never experienced in Ironman."

A Colorado girl, born and raised, my parents encouraged me to think outside the box and get creative. Their words and inspiration helped form the foundation of my life and thus my approach to coaching. In order to be the best I can be, I spend my life doing what I love most: physically pushing my body to the limit, and encouraging others to do the same.
In my younger years, I played lacrosse, field hockey, skied, and ran up Colorado's 14-thousand foot peaks. If I didn't work until noon during high school summers, I'd hit the road early to run up my go-to 14'er; all before showing up at work, dust on my face, ready to roll!
During my studies in psychology at The University of Montana, I met a life-changing group of friends who introduced me to the world of cycling. It began on the pavement, but I will never forget my first mountain bike ride...
For seven years, I was lucky enough to ride my bike in order to make a living. After college, I moved to Moab, UT, and helped establish a mountain bike touring company. The most rewarding part of my job over the years was guiding, teaching, and spreading my love for mountain biking to hundreds of people on Moab's rugged trails - amazing! Following 5 unforgettable years in the Moab desert, I headed further south to Tucson where I spent 3 years training myself and other cyclists/triathletes, in a communal and supportive environment. Whether on the road or the trail, our clients receive top-notch support, training tips, and live coaching. With my knowledge following years of experience as a professional athlete and guide, I've had the time of my life chasing down a few more dreams!!
Today, I'm a full-time endurance cycling & multi-sport coach, and CO-Founder of The Cyclist's Menu right here on the Front Range of Colorado. My better half Zander Ault (AKA Chef Z), is an artist in the kitchen. He and I have merged our biggest passions and this is how The Cyclist's Menu was born.
Oh yeah: racing. Running trail, XTERRA Triathlon, and racing my mountain bike on the professional level has been a huge part of my life now for the past 7 years and I plan to do it for the rest of my life!! I don't have a lot of time to travel around and train like I used to... but it will never stop me from jumping into a race and doing what I love most!
Hope to see you on the trails soon!!
